Job Summary
Responsible for leading a team of associates in building relationships with identified customer/client groups determining their needs, and exceeding their expectations in order to grow new and existing account portfolios.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Monitors, coaches, and educates sales team to ensure they are building relationships with customers to grow new and existing account volume and profitability.
Works with associates and customers to solve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintains profitability through sales report analysis, identifying trends, and forward issues and customer satisfaction problems to departments of responsibility.
Develops territory and portfolio goals and provide clear expectations on metrics for associates.
Develops and implements plans to expand business presence in the assigned area. Shares market and competitor information with all applicable channels within the organization.
Establishes relationships and working partnerships with all levels of the organization.
Manages performance of associates and recognizes, trains, coaches, counsels, and takes corrective action when warranted.
Nature and Scope
Solutions require analysis and investigation.
Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience.
Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
Work Environment
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 7
years experience in related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications
BS/BA is preferred but not required

years in an inside sales role
3
years managing a large team of sales professionals
Proven history of successfully coaching and mentoring various levels of sales talent
Experience setting and managing goals and budgets, annual territory planning
Strength in creating a sales culture with motivational programs and content
MS Office Suite
Proficiency in Excel, reporting and metrics
SalesForce.com or similar CRM
Strong presentation skills to various levels within an enterprise environment
