Your role involves taking reservations in person and over the phone, registering and welcoming guests, and assisting with gift shop sales.

Responsibilities:
(sample) Greet all guests with a welcoming smile, inquire about their needs, answer questions, and direct them to appropriate personnel when necessary.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the campground (availability, hours, rates, & facilities) and river activities.
Provide information on local activities, restaurants, and weekend events when requested.
Provide directions to the campground from various locations to assist potential customers with efficient arrival.
Distribute campground literature to guests as needed/requested, including brochures, rules, and rate sheets.
Maintain professional relationships with customers through excellent customer service.
Resolve customer conflicts/complaints calmly and effectively; rectify price discrepancies.
Thank customers for their business; invite them to return.
Communicate with Campground Rangers and Management using radio systems to maintain smooth operations.
Communicate any potential or actual problems to Management immediately.
Report repairs and replacements as needed when encountered on the job.
Assist with opening and closing duties; complete daily opening and closing checklists.
Run out-of-office errands for Management within the campground; deliver messages and vehicle permits.
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times, including the check-in area, gift shop, and reservation desk/window.
Organize gift shop merchandise and the office area.
Clean the inside and outside of the office building and the restroom.
Dispose of office trash.
