7K a year Summary/Objective:
The Production Line Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for safety, efficiencies, effectiveness, and quality standards throughout all functional areas of the production line.
Sound judgment, influence, and problem-solving skills are applied day to day in this role overseeing multifaceted interrelated manufacturing activities ensuring maximized unit quality and quantity are achieved.
Essential Functions:
Foster and enforce a culture and practice of safe work standards, good industrial hygiene throughout the production floor, and conducts Safety Gemba and Safety Communication with team production personnel.
Identify and implement training and cross-training opportunities for skills depth, standardization of work processes, and to ensure operating procedures are followed and work is performed with consistent methods and quality requirements.
Sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
Contributes to the Quality Management effort by investigating discrepancies, configuration control, Alpha/FAI Check and ECR initiation where prudent and appropriate.
Drives quality work through Real Time Problem Resolution (RTPM) discrepancy investigations and will also initiate Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
Manages Work Order process through Job Sheet and Redline submittals or ensures process is completed as tasked to Production Line Leads.
Own and manage Scheduling process to include effective manpower allocation, overtime management control, creating and updating Schedule Visual Controls, Schedule Communication, Variance Planning, and Line Indexing.
Conduct and participate in Bill-of-Material (BOM) validation process ensuring correct parts and materials are used and available.
Coach, mentor, and manage workforce relations to include work ethic training, addressing deficiencies in attendance, manpower allocation, cross-training, and employee mediation of concerns where needed and in coordination with Human Resources depending on the severity and subject matter.
Promotes and fosters a Lean Manufacturing culture through Gemba Walks, 5s Events, Time Observations, Area Lay-out, Flow and Linkage, Point of Use (Point of Use) creation, and Visual Controls.

Experience:
Associates Degree or work experience equivalency strongly preferred.
At least two years' experience in construction or manufacturing industry and supervision of work teams.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and scheduling preferred.
Ability to influence and communicate work standards and tasks to production personnel.
Ability to work in and exemplify team based methods.
Good problem-solving skills and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong performance in quality, thru-put, safety, and reliability.
Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
