Looking for a motivated, fashion conscious, organized person for a busy boutique in New Braunfels.
You must have prior sales experience, familiar with POS Systems and have references.
Pay is based on level of skill.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting managers in merchandising, sales and operations of the store.
Hours of work will include evenings, weekends and Holidays.
Responsibilities:
The major job responsibilities for which the Assistant Manager is to assist Managers in:
Maximize store sales and profits Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency Meet all sales goals Develop qualified well trained staff Properly train employees in all aspects of operations Ensure proper execution of all store operations functions and company policies Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Protect all company asset The following is a list of activities to support the accomplishment of these major
Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER SERVICE/ SALESMANSHIP:
Ensure that all Customers are greeted in a prompt and friendly manner.
Ensure that all Customer phone calls are handled in a courteous and helpful manner.
Ensure that all associates are provided with merchandise information and effective salesmanship techniques.
Inform Customers of advertised and promotional events to increase sales volume.
Use merchandise knowledge to increase units per transaction.

MERCHANDISING:
Direct seasonal outposts set-up.
Direct and ensure accuracy of sales event set-up.
Direct and ensure accuracy of clearance event set-up.
Ensure stock keeping maintenance is followed (including close to open policy).
Ensure compliance with merchandise presentation standards Requirements:
Motivated Outgoing personality Strong work ethic Organization Ability to multi-task Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed Must have experience in a high volume retail environment Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work rotating mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Available to work 25 to 35 hours a week Previous Assistant Management experience required HOURLY RATE BASED UPON EXPERIENCE Job Type:
