All necessary training will be provided on the job.
This is NOT a medical assistant position, however, knowledge of health insurance is a plus! We are people serving people and our desire and mission is to change the health of our community! DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to) Practice Member Care, Administrative Work, & Marketing.
Practice Member Care- Your job is to love people and serve others with excellence! You will be expected to consult with patients about healthcare needs, educate practice members on neurologically-based chiropractic care using provided verbiage, complete neurological assessments using technology, prepare practice members for x-rays, and/or take x-rays.
Administrative Work- Your daily tasks will include building health files, scanning documents, verifying insurance, and serving customers.
Your job will also include answering phones, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, sending/responding to emails, etc.
Office cleaning duties will be divided among team members.
Marketing- Marketing is a requirement for the position.
You may be asked to arrange health talks and attend health screenings in the community on the weekends (once per month).
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a team player and enjoy working with others Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment -- this is NOT a desk job Must be outgoing and willing to communicate with our practice members daily Must be detail oriented Must be willing to learn about chiropractic and memorize office scripts Must be 18
years old to be considered Must have own form of transportation to and from work Must have computer knowledge and be comfortable with technology -- we are an electronic healthcare office Must be available to work at least 1 weekend a month Will be required to travel 2-3 times per year for training DIRECTIONS TO APPLY:
